Dress from River Island. Damage to wallet $105.00!!! Should I get it? Can wear to wedding lunch on 8 April. But where else can I wear it?
Other dresses I tried . . .
Damage to my pocket is still the same. But I think the black flowery one also not bad. But still prefer the green one. Is it to casual to wear to a wedding lunch? The last time I went to a wedding was when I was 12. Somebody help me . . . :(

That ends my 1 day tour in NUH on 12 March 2007. Going home with 1 week MC and bruises from the poking. That's my 1 week holiday from the hell-hole.

"Congrats" that's the most common word I been hearing for the past few days.
BUT...Should I really be happy over it? Should I really be over the moon? Should I really be glad that I got it? Should I really be excited?
SHOULD I . . . ?I really have absoulately NO idea! I am filled with uncertainties myself, in the midst of the "Congratulations" from others who seem more excited than me.

Did I ever mention that I find this 2 guys really cute. *slurps* Gosh. I think there's something seriously wrong with my eyes but they just have the x-factor. I love bad boys.

End of the day. End of a public holiday. It's a working day tomorrow again. Arghhhh . . . *pulls hair* Why can't weekends be longer? Or why can't there be more public holidays? Why is it that I dread going to work? Is this job suitable for me? Arghhhhh . . . *scratch head*

I need to study. Why is it that each CPA module is like freaking 70 over pages? *pulls hair* How to finish and be ready for exam on Thursday morning? Arghhhh . . .

Another day of phone calls and emails. Another day of telling people "I have no idea.", "I'm not sure", "I'll check it out for you", " I will get the Sales Manager to get back to you" etc etc. Arghhhh . . .

- Gathering -
Couple of peeps came over to my house yesterday night to have dinner and a game of monopoly. 
One reason why I never like the idea of people coming to my house is that mummy will make such a big fuss about it. When I told her that a couple of my friends will be coming down. She insisted on cooking dinner. Which I insisted there was no need for her to cook. But finally gave in to the idea of curry chicken so that she can stop nagging. Lo and behold at the end she cooked like 5 dishes!?! From 1 curry chicken to 5 dishes! *slaps head* So much food how to finish?! And the worst thing and the reason why I don't like people coming is that she will insist that I PACK MY ROOM!!! I hate cleaning my room. *bleah* Anyway, after some small hicups, Kevin, Yvonne, Chuen and Cheryl managed to arrive safely. It's fun having dinner together and playing monopoly. With good company, time flies even if we are doing nonsensical things. A Saturday ended with laughters and lots of gossip and updating of life. As we grow older and with different focus in our lifes, finding time to go out together is getting difficult. But as long as we learn to cherish that quality few hours together I believe friendships can still grow and strengthen. Hopefully we can find more time to do such "gaming" sessions together.

- Updates of my Life -
Hmmm . . . Technically nothing much to update b'cos nothing much is done. For the past 2 days, woke up at unearthly hours, take an hour long bus ride to town, walk from Shaw Towers to Goodwood Park Hotel in heels, sweating like a pig and ta dah . . . start working nonstop until lunch time den eat den start working nonstop until . . . until things are done. Sianz. I totally cannot understand how can some people wear heels for so long and everyday! My legs are threatening to come apart. And that is when I still wear my birkis within the office. I totally cannot understand how can those peeps in the office wear their suits throughout. It is super hot lor. I always sweat wearing it. CANNOT TAKE IT! The con of hospitality is that I have to wear suits everyday even if the temperature outside can cook an egg. SUCKS. Heels SUCKS too. But well the work itself it's fun. As to the idea of always constantly on your feet with things to do. But the lack of knowledge and the proper hand over from the previous peeps sucks. But all in all I guess it's fine. We will see in the long run if the whinny Jes will come out and start grumbling and bitching bout the job. Muhaha. But I miss my slacking life. SIANZ. Really need to be a tai tai. Once again eye is badly sore. Freaking stupid lah. Have no idea what is wrong with it lah. Need to go make a pair of black geeky glasses already lah. Gathering at my house tomorrow night. Finally getting a chance to meet up with a few peeps after nearly 3 weeks in Singapore. Hibernating has ended for Jeslyn. Time to face the world. Muhaha.

I am such a bum. I woke up early with the intention of taking the long bus ride down to Orchard for my IELTS oral test. (The same test which I took a bus down for yesterday morning. That's another story) I woke up at an unearthly timing of 8.30am. Showered and changed. On the lappie and since then my arse have been stuck to the chair til now. I have given in to the temptation of cabbing! Arghhhh . . . A thrifty and spendthrift jes had an argument in my head. I finally gave in and decide that it's too far to walk from Orchard Hotel to Traders Hotel again esp in the haze (which I did yesterday). Haiz. It's always so tempting to take a cab in Singapore. Someone tell me. HOW TO SAVE MONEY LIKE THAT?! *bangs head* :( I am going broke. All my money going to the stupid cab uncles who make my life miserable when I attempt to drive in Singapore. Arghhhh . . . Irony of life!
